Shaped Shutters

Material

Shaped panels are available with any of the Basswood, Hardwood and Western Red Cedar shutters. They are not available in Artwood or Custom Craft, but can be manufactured to look the same.

Panel Sizes

Maximum and minimum panel sizes for the different materials still apply. Sunburst panels have a maximum width of 1800mm.

Blades

Not all blades within the panel will necessarily be able to move. Some blades may need to be fixed in position, while others may have a limited rotation.

Sunburst panels have moveable blades; however they are not connected by a Rotation rod, so blade movement is done by hand to each individual blade. Stepped Rail is also available upon request.

Frames

Either reveal mount frames or face mount frames are available for all shapes, or the panel can be provided with no frame, to be fixed as required.

Inside Mount Installations – We highly recommend the use of a Z Frame to cover any inconsistencies or out of square of the window.

Sunburst Louvres operate independently of each other and have a maximum panel width of 1800mm and a maximum panel height of 900mm.

Hinges

The standard range of hinge colours still applies to shaped panels. Framed panels that cannot be hinged are held in place with button catches.

Rotation Types

Centre, Offset and Hidden Rotation options are all available with shaped panels, depending on the particular shape and the individual panel application.
